Modi greets Putin on Russia's national day


New Delhi, June 12 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Thursday conveyed his greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of Russia's National Day and said India values the long standing and strong bond with Russia.

In tweets, the prime minister said: "I have written to President Putin & Prime Minister Medvedev, conveying greetings on the occasion of Russia's National Day."

"My greetings to the people of Russia on Russia's National Day. India values the long standing & strong bond with Russia."
