Mumbai, Jun 16: The police will wait for Preity Zinta to return from Los Angeles before summoning Ness Wadia.
When asked about the recording of statement of the two witnesses who were present during the incident, Mumbai police chief Rakesh Maria said that the statements will be recorded on Monday June 16.
Preity Zinta had filed a police complaint on Thursday June 12 night alleging she was molested by Ness Wadia inside Wankhede Stadium on May 30. An IPL match was played on that day between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings.
Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia had broken their relationship some time back. They are the co-owners of Kings XI Punjab.
Ness Wadia has dismissed all the allegations and has said that Preity Zinta is stooping too low level to gain some cheap publicity.
