Heartbreak to 'Comedy Nights...' fans

Mumbai, Jun 16: Popular comedy show 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' will go off air from September. The host and the producer of the show Kapil Sharma tweeted early on Sunday June 15th morning regarding the show going off air.

He tweeted , "Comedy Nights is going off air from September..V will come back with new characters n new set..Till den..Keep smiling :)"

'Comedy Nights With Kapil' is one of the most popular show on television. Kapil Sharma rose to fame with this show. He was also signed as  a hero by Yash Raj Films for a three film deal. His first film as a lead actor 'Bank Chor' will start soon.

The reason for the show going off air is not yet known. As the show was getting very good TRP, it was shocking to hear about it going off air. Kapil Sharma's career as a lead actor in Hindi film industry is said to be the main reason behind this. As it will be tough to shoot both the show and the film together, Kapil Sharma may have decided to take a break.

Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Dharmendra, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar have attended the show to promote their movies. The show will be missed by its audiences. On the brighter note, Kapil Sharma has promised to come with the second season soon.
