Do not worship Shirdi Sai Baba, says Shankaracharya

Chennai, Jun 24 (Agencies) : Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand said on Monday that Sai Baba of Shirdi is not a symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity and should not be worshipped because he was a human being, and not a God.

"Muslims would have had the same amount of faith in Sai Baba if he really was a symbol of unity between the Hindus and Muslims," he said.

The seer also expressed his disapproval over the construction of Sai Baba temples saying that it was merely a way of making money in the name of the spiritual man. Sai Baba was certainly not an incarnation of God, since there are only 24 incarnations of Lord Vishnu, as mentioned in Sanatan Dharma. Worshipping Sai Baba is a conspiracy to create division among Hindus, he said.

    Swami Swaroopanand has no right to say it.Just sitting in a comfy couch and VIPs coming for a darshan does not make him great and there is no such greatness left in the title `Shankaracharya` nowadays as compared to the great Adi shankara.
    He should get a life and read about the life and teachings of my sainath

    I think sankracharya has gone mad. May be his Income from temple is going down or low. so he decided to raise this type nitwit questions.
    Is someones get peace by worship sai baba then It is good. Because human worship god to get peace .
    And doesn't have right to say this type of things because this is related to religion .and it may cause to fight hindu and hindu .I think we should beat or welcome shankrachrya by shoes and chhapals okkkk.....

    Dear Sir do not invite the persons who donot have least knowledge of Hinduism. One ivitee said Sai Baba is mentioned in Ramayana. Now since, Sai Baba was muslim place a idol in a mosque and worship there. Let us see what happens.
    People are taking HINDUISM for granted. There are dargahs where people go every thursday, so carry on going who stops, but putting idol of Sai Baba in temple and start denouncing Sanatan Dharm would be a blasphamous. We the Hindus have strong reservations to it. Be sure, keep news channels out of biased reporting. HINDUISM IS NOT ORPHAN. We are fully with SHANKARACHARYA SARASWATI SWAROOPANAND.

    But he is fool. only by reading books or sanskrit litreture doesnt become great knowledge. knowledge is useful only after implementation and give birth to peaceful future.
    By sitting in A/C room he will not know how shri saibaba lived his life and helped people to improve their behaviour, increase love with each other.
    Shankaracharya is now become old, he must retire from his post like people do get retired after 58 years. shankaracharya is place with feelings of common man.
    He want to divide common poor people by name of hinduism. he is not a human being but blood sucker. government must take strong action against him or else severe problem will be created.

    It is so sad that this swamyji has not yet understood the real meaning of Incarnation and the concept of PARABRAHMAM. God (PARABRAHMAM) can incarnate on this earth as HE wishes. When the Lord can incarnate as Fish and Pig, can He not incarnate as Shirdi Sai for the sake of His devotees. To me SHIRDI SAI IS GOD HIMSELF...HE IS PARABRAHMA SWAROOPAM!     You can call Sai Baba as Guru, but calling him God or any other Human as God is really degrading God. God, Who created this Universe, where our Earth is small object in our Solar System, a dot in our Milky Wave galaxy, and the Milkywave galaxy is among the billions other Galaxies which makes our Galaxy a dot....and how come one can imagine a human being who is "nothing" in front of magnitude of all God's creations, to be called as "God"!...If we humans think another human is "God", then so does all other creations will think that their God must be like them...Elephant will think its God is another elephant...Ant will think its God is another ant and so on! In Quran, Veda, Bible - God says that He is Unique and pure, He is eternal, He doesn't have begining and He has got no end, He has no children and He has no parents and He is not anything like His creations....but still people erect some humans among them and worship them!....I think only Human beings do that...we cannot find any animals worshiping any of their fellow beings or even human beings...may be we are too intelligent that we think that God is like us!

    Those who want to worship Sai Baba should worship but they have no right to put Lord Ram, Shiva and Krishna's statue with Sai Baba. It really hurts other Hindus sentiment.

    The saivaktas would never dare to put photograph of Mahamad with Saibaba so also Saibaba with jesus.

There is enormous amount of Jesus scriptures that testifies that Divinity of Jesus is God in human form. This Jesus who gives His peace as he said....so how peace be upon Him? His coming foretold, showed all that God does with a message of Love, forgiveness, peace..He also said "so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him". Remember now you ought to believe on 'SON' becoz Jesus said and your books too testify about him but you have no stand to follow the same no..no..no..teachings. do not blindly listen to some but read and understand then decide.     Incidentally, yesterday I was talking to one of my friends about the realty price escalation in Mumbai and he bluntly told me

    "Forget about real estate rates, all the people are jittery and worried about the severe shortfall in rains thus far as most of the lakes supplying rains are at their lowest levels"!!

    Dear Brothers and sisters now just dont start about again about who is who s God discussion.,that will never Ends.No one can discribe who is God.But we all believe in one God who is above us creatur and watches us .Every Religion gives their own Name and follows him their own way.as catholic have Saints,hindus have Gods Name.like greeks have also for every Thing one God.but at present in India between Religions there is so much enemity that everyone says theirs is correct and ready to kill others because of it(even in other countrys also).let them believe whom they want but let others in peace.none of Religion will be correct if they harm others in Name of Religion or kill .Nowadays there are number of Religion are coming up with their own rules and regulations so that hard to believe who is right what is wrong.but it should not make us to leave ours and wander to other.let us be steady in our Religion and follow ,but dont discriminate others .

    Well, swami might have been tired of sitting in the a/c rooms of mutts eating boiled vegetables & dry fruits all day doing nothing and hence attempted this mis-adventure of giving such highly inflammable statements for the sake of earning some quick cheap publicity. It looks nothing but the jealousy & frustration of the head of low earning shrine normally showing towards the high earning shrines. Or swamiji might have been worried too much due to the falling revenue of Dwaraka's business compared to growing popularity & high competition from Shirdi. Swamiji made a good attempt by giving the usual touch of foreigner's involvement to fool & misguide poor innocent devotees of both sides. This particular swamiji must take some good lessons from the other small not very famous Shrines whose custodians are relentlessly doing their duties of serving the shrines by keeping a humble & low profile without getting involved in any such kind of controversies. Swamiji must also understand that we are not in the 18th century where some sick minded custodians of religious shrines used to give provocative statements in media with the intention of creating unrest in society and poor innocent illiterate public used to come under the influence & come out on streets immediately chanting slogans. This Swamiji will not learn the lesson until he is made to run from pillar to post while taking 100 rounds of the courts in various parts of the country where Sai Baba's followers are in the process of filing cases against him with charges of trying to harm their religious sentiments & to divide poor believers on both sides!! It would be interesting to know whether Dwaraka shrine's treasurers will waste the offerings of poor devotees towards the legal expenses defending the cases of swamiji's mis-adventure !!

    The conception of Jesus didn’t took place through a human but through the Holy Spirit born of a virgin Mary without sin. Jesus was sinless and faultless. I quote John 8:46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? Unquote.
    As a human Jesus never asked forgiveness from Heavenly Father, never even once. Instead He forgave the sins of others.

    Who can forgive the sins but God alone the Jews murmured.

    God is pure, holy and sinless.
    Sin only is the matter with God and God cannot encourage or tell anybody not even to his own elect to sin in the future also rather he will forgive the present and past sins of any human being once committed knowingly or unknowingly if asked forgiveness through whole heartily.

    As a human Jesus demonstrated the he was there before Abraham was born in this earth.
    I quote John 8:58 Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” Unquote.
    Jesus was there even before the world was created.
    Jesus lifted up his eyes to heaven and spoke to Heavenly Father I quote John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory WHICH I HAD WITH THEE BEFORE THE WORLD WAS. Unquote.

    Jesus never said a person to sin now or in the future. He did not condemn the adulterous women brought by the jews to stone her. Jesus said “neither I condemn thee, go and sin no more.

    I quote John 8:10-11 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
    11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Unquote.

It happens almost in all religions. Even now a days educated too instead viewing their image in wider, they are turning narrow. very sad to know this. There are few people are working behind this in the name of religion to create misunderstanding within the good & healthy society & this is what we must know in time or all your originality will dissapear ever you will not be knowing how it happened & how you are been totally surrender to SATAN.     Some religious people believe that god would give you eternal punishment for doing or not doing certain things in this life. The punishment according to them is eternal burning by god. It looks strange that god would create us and gives us lot of freedom to do bad deeds and finally burn you eternally in hell for doing such deeds. God could have easily preempted the possibility of committing crimes in the first place if he wanted people not to do any crimes. I do not understand why god is being so sadistic. many scriptures say that doing certain things will make god happy or angry. These are characteristics' of humans and other animals which many attribute to god. if we people can make a god happy it means that he was lesser happy before the mortals made him happy. if we people can make a god angry it means that we ordinary Mortals can push even an all powerful god to unpleasant state of mind. why would god allow himself to get into a unpleasant state of mind?. if life is a test, as many people believe, it means that god does not know beforehand who goes to heaven and who goes to hell. going by this belief,god does not know future correctly. Hans Christian Anderson has written a story called "Emperors new clothes" in the story a little child puts to rest a bluff believed by many adults. likewise a child in you will awaken you from the bluff that has been foisted on you for many years. A lie believed by billions of people over a period of time cannot make a lie true. Idols or no idols, there is no concrete proof of either the existence or non existence of god.

    Incarnation means divine being in human/animal form on Earth.
    In Hinduism, incarnation generally refers to an avatar of Vishnu or Ganesha. Collectively, the 10 avatars of Vishnu are known as the dashavatara.
    The Hindu Pantheon of Gods and goddesses is so vast. In India, there are 33 Crore or more Gods and Goddesses in Hindu religion. All the Hindu gods and goddesses have their own and extra ordinary images and deities to represent.
    In fact, all different Gods and goddesses have been considered as Supreme and ultimate at different times, attributing the qualities and powers of one to another.
    Apart from Gods and goddesses who have been attributed specific qualities, characteristics, several inanimate objects, emotions and the various forms of nature had also been sacred and worshiped most probably.
    Some believe that whenever Ashanthi or disharmony overwhelms the world, the Lord will incarnate in human form to establish the modes of earning Prasanthi or supreme peace and to re-educate the human community in the paths of peace. Hence Sai Baba too is an avatar of god.
    The Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt were sometimes said to be incarnations of the sun gods Horus and Ra.
    Mainstream Judaism totally rejects any doctrine of an incarnation of God and absolutely rejects any concept of an incarnation of God in any form.
    The Incarnation of Christ is a central Christian doctrine that God became flesh, assumed a human nature, and became a man in the form of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the second person of the Trinity.
    According to Buddha's teaching the soul (as that structure of sankharas that gives rise to incarnation and animates the body during 'life') is not a fixed entity but in a state of constant flux - being modified over time by actions of body, speech and mind.

    Mainstream Islam completely rejects the doctrine of the incarnation of God in any form as the concept is defined as shirk. In mainstream Islam God is one and "neither begets nor is begotten”.

So God himself came in the flesh, because sin was committed by flesh. He died in the place of me and you. His name is Jesus means saviour of the world.     I can only laugh at some of the comments here. People says we must pray to the creator. First of all tell me who is the creator...? Who has seen him...? Someone says that creator is this and that and we believe in that and then we say we are not ignorant. How can someone believe something which he has not seen...? Anybody can write a book and say i saw this and that and god is this and that and make you believe and follow that. I guess religion is a outcome of that.

    If you have not seen god, the next best alternative is to see the creation of god and work towards the well being of that and not destroying by killing them. God has put his energy into everything that is existing. So what is wrong is praying to SAI BABA. I think there is no problem in that.

    In India you have a freedom to pray to anything the creator has created ... be it animal, tree , mother, spiritual men or we have a choice to not pray at all, but still can we called as "Hindus". Anybody who is born in Hindustan becomes a Hindu by birth. " Hindu" is a geographical identity and not cultural indentity. A Hindu have a freedom to express his views... i this old man has every right to express his view, I AM GLAD THAT HE IS INDIAN AND LUCKILY HE IS BORN HERE... HE WILL NOT BE KILLED FOR HIS VIEWS.

    Nobody has the eyes to see the creator seems to be the major problem amongst atheists....The creator is meant to be loved, adored, respected and above all ACCEPTED....can man order the seas to stop roaring or the winds to stop howling or stop the birds from flying or raise any dead person....no. mortals are unqualified no matter how advanced science has become....the closest you can see God is the SUN GOD who provides the much needed energy for sustenance....... ok, say you are sitting at home and its very hot outside, so you switch on the fan, but it does not operate since there is no power which comes 30 mins later and brings you relief. Hey, you cannot see the power but it comes and then your fan operates...all you can see is the switch which is useless without the power...when there was no power, no one screams or curses the fan switch but the electricity firm....so the electricity firm is SUPREME which ONLY provides rahat....also you see your relatives every day and one day the y die .. you cry and say that they have gone... who has gone and where have they gone? you relative whom you can see is sleeping on the floor but is lifeless.....but what you cannot see has already left his body...........so the creator is to be felt... respect and totally surrender to him and you would see HIM/HER through what happens in your life

    Use your brain and God given wisdom and study unbiased carefully your spiritual book, there you find the relation between father, son, spirit- the way, the light, the spirit, the life, etc. will enlighten and lead to Jesus Christ as the Lord God and nothing less than God, the word becoming man as son. In wordily way if think one may go off road.
    you say God/ Allah has no form yet can see without eyes, speak without mouth hear without ears, walk without legs but say that God can't have a son without wife or relation. Then you doubt about so called Almighty's capacity. How you can worship a such a GOD, whom YOU HAVE NOT SEEN, DO NOT KNOW HOW HE IS & WHERE HE IS who created you and kept apart. Remember if there is a creation, there is a creator and that creator has to meet face to face with the creator otherwise just a story. That is why we believe as said 'Go, the word become flesh, that way God came to his own human form-Jesus.' If you agree good and if not..Lord have mercy. Amen

    For me God means a Creator, he is Almighty & he has a power above all. God is kind and merciful. He has no religion. My God is the living God. There is no form for a God. No body has seen him he is in which form. But he is everywhere. We will always feel his abundant love, care. God created this beautiful world but we humans (dirty minded wild animals)ruined the earth. All of us know that while birth we bring nothing and while out from this world we take nothing. But still we .......??? why can someone tell me please.

    For Hindus there are crores of Gods so what if they worship Sai baba??? They find God in a stone or a tree, water and everywhere. Let them worship.

    There is no place in the Bible that says the three words "Jesus is God," but we don't need those exact words to determine that Jesus is God in flesh. There are many verses that teach this.

    John 1:1,14, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…14, And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
    John 5:18, "For this cause therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God."
    John 8:24 - "I said therefore to you, that you shall die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you shall die in your sins." (The word “he” is not found in the Greek. Compare with Exodus 3:14)

    Heb. 1:8, “But of the Son He says, “Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom.”
    So, it should be quite clear that the writers of the New Testament considered Jesus to be divine.

    Yes, it is truly said that God is one and we have to worship Creator only. But having said that we people do not seem to worship him with reverence. Nowadays people do indulge in wrong doings such as killing innocent people by planting bombs, murdering for selfish motives,cheating others, backbiting, involving in sex racket etc. etc. and talk about Creator without having fear of God. Keeping grudge and taking revenge is very common phenomenon these days in our society. Let us first try to be good human beings like Shirdi Sai Baba, Mother Therasa who sacrifised life for others. I do not see any point in arguing on God's existence by referring to religious books, teachings and comparing one religion to other. God definitely dwells in them whoever sacrifised life for His sake and for others sake.They are adorable. Please don't comment on religion as it creates nothing but hatredness. Every human being is God's creation and our ways to reach him are different and that is Faith. Be faithful to Almighty. Without humanity practice of any religion is meaningless. So many nations are undergoing turmoil due to religious differences within the religion. Nowadys fine examples to name few of them are Syria, Iraq and Pakistan. Ultimate sufferers are citizens of the country. Let us pray for the peace to prevail in these countries.

    No religion is 100% perfect to answer all non understandable questions regarding any religion towards one's own worship of Creator.

    Nor we know about the "Creator" as God as man or woman or human being, as none has seen God.

    It is better for us to be humans and treat other humans as we expect them to treat us, first.

    About God and Creator, it should be a personal relationship of a person, without bringing in others in to that relationship.

    But ultimately there is only One God, who is supreme and powerful without measure and does not require any human help to get his works done.

    Do not misjudge any one!
    Thank you Dijiworld for giving an opportunity to present my point on idol worship as many wer upset of people using these words like idol worship/kafirs/unbeliever etc etc, Now because of internet you can study lot of things which used to be biased when presented.
    Brother ,I think you are not aware of your own scripts similar to the rest of 80% people, were most of them are illiterates and people who do read only mug up the verses and never try to know the meaning, Because in the start itself it has been commanded to believe whatever written in this book shouldn't be questioned, if u dare or sense doubt on its authenticity then hell fire is ready for your after life.
    As per my knowledge about islam , i can present you few of the verse( khalid ,bhukhari,, sahadith, etc u name it) were it strictly prohibits bowing down other than allah/god who is residing in 7th heaven on a throne, So you need to change your bowing position upwards!!
    So your claim for bowing down to kaaba to show unity or any other purpose is unjustifiable and is also invalid.
    One more thing , even there are few other verses in which bowing down kaaba issue comes and if you come up with this verse then you are not following allah’s command and you are punished for shirk. Also these verses then contradict with each other claiming god/allah himself prohibited bowing other than him and in the other verse allah/god commands to bow to kaaba making people to commit shirk!
    Also ,if can kindly go through my comment to brother abdul jabbar!
    SO if Kaaba is not an idol but a direction, is semantics. Then idols of Hindus or any other believers(kafirs) are also not gods/idols but make the devotee direct his or her mind towards God. Idol-worship is a much abused word - every religion indulges in it in one form or the other.
    What ever happened in the past is history and we have to believe in love, peace and care for humanity

    One simple question to you can Kaaba stone be replaced by any other stone if not why cant be replaced?
    like Hindus, people even through idols during ganesh chathurthi and replace it with a new one.

    It is a misconception that Muslims worship and bow to Kaaba. Muslims only worship and bow to None but God (Allah in Arabic). It will be a Shirk when we say that Muslims worship the Kaaba.
    Kaaba is the Qibla, which is the direction Muslims face during their prayers. Islam believe in fostering Unity and in order to unite Muslims in their worship of the One TRUE God, Muslims wherever they are are asked to face in only one direction, that is the Kaaba.
    And please note that the Kaaba is at the center of the World Map.
    At the time of Prophet (PBUH), people even stood over the Kaaba to give Adhaan (call to prayers).

    what ever you mentioned about kaaba can be considered unless you are not offended when people say idol is been used only for their concentration purpose and its not as idol worshiping rite.
    On the other hand you have not answered whether it can be replaced or not. Similarly kaaba is also given importance by circling it as hindus do , if you say its not the same then y circling required or you are blindly following what people were following centuries ago rite.
    So by giving importance to any object or place or etc can be easily proven as worshiping, wat say?
    And most of the people know about the below mentioned claim which you made in your comment.
    "On kaaba being centre of the earth" , where on earth did you get this info, as per science earth approximates an oblate spheroid, a sphere flattened along the axis from pole to pole, so if you take any point on the earth surface then that point can be considered as the center!!

    In your list missed one more name Jesus. Any doubt carefully go through the holy book again which testifies Jesus as the light, the spirit, the way, conceived without human intervention and everything goes for good. We have a God who have direct connection who visited his creation shown himself and call him Father too. If you believe God/Allah is all mighty, all powerful then do not doubt he can become man and come down to humans in human form too. No need to to talk through the holy people all the time. Jesus said after me many will come in my name and deceive may but be wise. When we say Jesus we do not say 'peace be upon him because he is the one who gives HIS peace to all'- as he said 'My peace I will give you'. Let us not be ignorant. God is one like Ice, water, steam is one even though in three form.
    About Sai baba God has to reveal through some words or action, only miracles will not make anybody God but definitely a holy person/ messenger.

    When Abraham built the Kaaba, its purpose was to glorify the one, true God, a radical concept in a time of idolatry and pagan worship. The Kaaba therefore promotes monotheism, the most important aspect of Islam. According to Islam, Abraham also explained that the Kaaba was only symbolically a house of God, not a singular dwelling place. Mohammed(PBUH), the prophet of Islam, had to continue the work of Abraham in removing statues of idols that filled the Kaaba.

    Also to add to it.kaaba is the most appropriate centre of the earth.Its a direction to Pray.And the prayer offered in this Fashion with God being above the heaves.Classic is the structural set up.Where All slaves pray in one direction to ONE GOD.

    I would like to say shankaracharya with all respect that please dont involve yourself in all this and loose whatever little respect he has got .. Shirdi Sai Baba may be a Saint but still has got heavenly Powers much more than the guy speaking against him and even today Miracles happen !! I would rather suggest him to start Worshipping sai baba so that Baba forgives his Sins and turns him to a true saint one day ..who has no interest in all this Politics other than serving People and worshipping the almighty God. I think saints should have no interest in any religion other than Humanity and thats how baba was . Try to read his biography and understand what really the word Saint means .. Moreover Baba never told any one to call him as God or Worship him its peoples belief and faith on him which turned him to what he is now .. So stop all this and Do what you are meant to do ..     Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand is a common man with below average intellectual skills. No one need to take his words seriously.

    Sai Baba was of course a human being, so as Rama, Krishna, Jesus. But the difference is they were much above normal human beings with high thinking and way of living. When the stories passed on to next generations, each added a little amount of divinity and finally they became perfect dieties. Logically impossible attributes like Shrikrishna lifting mandara hill with one finger is one of them, i am quoting with the liberty that i am a hindu and i worship Shrikrishna.
    Similar example can be quoted from the life of Lord Jesus too, citing will not be appropriate here.

    If we keep on listening to all, one day we may have to remove photos or statues of all GOD one by one from our house or temple. And then we left with no GOD principle!!!     Years back there was no much importance to education. We were educated by the Priests/Gurujis.In case of any problems we used to
    approach them .At that particular point there was no importance for money.But now it has become a passion were the Priests/Gurujis take or make money in the name of religion, charity work an so.But we despite of being educated we donate money to the religious places. why ?
    We can donate, why don't we have the time to help 1 needy person ?
    As people are much into religion we cannot eradicate this disease which would be shortly be a treat to the society.

    In the olden days, the highly religious people took a lifestyle of sacrifice and self-denial, but now the norm has totally changed and they have taken a different route to amass more wealth through playing religion. Some of the so called religious people who are single but when they die, and their hidden wealth is exposed, that will shock the gullible believers. We are all against kickbacks and corruption, but the kickback in the religious world is getting far worse. If I am charging for prayers, then it is totally contracting true religion.

    As a Christian believer, I am greatly disappointed and offended to hear the modern "prosperity gospel" and the preachers are living like royalty through amassing money from the ordinary believers. They must live comfortably, but showing the most expensive houses-imported cars-custom made dress-jewelry etc to show the prosperity, that is totally contrary to the teachings of JESUS and HIS disciples. I respect Mother Teresa greatly for her self-denial in serving JESUS CHRIST through practical way.

    He says Sai Baba is not an incarnation Lord Vishnu. What is the proof that Vishnu is a GOD.?

    Shankara is worried because he is an ordinary bill collector compared to Sai. If we build a temple on Sai, Shankara's popularity, collection will be jeopardise.

    Do not criticize or comment on religion or religious faith of the people.
    Hindus have 10,000 plus Gods, as such there is a competition among Gods.
    So stay away from religious comments. With the advancement of science, Hinduism is loosing grounds. Because science is based on proof and evidences, not Chandamama stories.

    As long as nobody comes across with you with sword and gun to push his or her religion upon you, then we must be patient and tolerable.

    If there is something positive and good thing to accept, accept that.

    Religion is matter of faith. As per Upanishads GOD has no form (nirguna and nirakara). It is man who created religion and worshiping God in various forms. In the matter of religion, questioning wisdom of any section of people and creating rift is not proper.

    So, never compare or try to prove
    a certain religion is superior to other. However, Mohammed, Jesus,
    Mahavir, Buddha, Zoraster, etc not
    necessarily Gods or God's avtar.
    But they did exist and are in the record books. People worship them as God because they have not seen God. It's their faith.
    But Brahma, Shiva, Vishnu are all mythology. They have no historical stand, but still people worship.
    It is their faith,right and choice.
    So, never compare lest you should be the loser.!!!!
    Shankara should mind his own business.

    Religion is man made but God made humans and al that exists and even science can't disprove. Remember Faith only Believes but Science proves. That is why Christianity never tries to prove that it is superior but is the message of Love, Equality, good deeds and being kind to neighbor..al these proves it is the only way of God, as Jesus truly said 'Kingdom of God is among yourselves.
    Every word and action of Lord Jesus proved 'the Divinity' one who understands even though one may not accept. All the holy books too witness the same all we have.

    Do not worship any God or Man. Do not give anything to God and God man. Be just and kind to fellow human being. Eat and share everything eatable food when you are hungry. Do not kill animals for sport.When you kill animal eat it for food and share it with fellow human.
