Probe ordered into GAIL pipeline fire


New Delhi, June 27 (IANS): The government Friday ordered a high-level inquiry into a GAIL gas pipeline fire in Andhra Pradesh that killed 14 people.

A central government team has also rushed to the site in East Godavari district to oversee relief operations.

Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said he had ordered a high-level enquiry into the fire and explosion.
