6.2 magnitude quake jolts Japan


Tokyo, June 29 (IANS): A 6.2-magnitude quake Sunday jolted Japan's Iwo Jima Island.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the epicentre was determined at 24.6 degrees north latitude and 142.2 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 170 km.
