Modi greets nation on Ramadan


New Delhi, June 30 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday greeted the nation on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

"As Ramzan (Ramadan) begins, I convey my greetings and pray that the holy month brings peace and happiness in everyone's life," Modi said in a tweet.

Ramadan fasts started Monday after the sighting of the moon Sunday night.
