So they had eloped from Kadaba in the last week of June.  Harish's parents had filed a case with the Kadaba police and Tejakumari's parents had lodged a complaint with the Subrahmanya police.

They came back to Kadaba police station on Thursday and said that they had eloped to Kumbla in Kasargod district and had got married a fortnight ago in a temple at Anantpura.  One of Harish’s friends who is working in Kasargod is said to have helped the former also to get a job in a bakery there.  Harish also told the police that he has bought a house for rent at near Kasargod and would continue to live there along with Tejakumari.

Reports said that since Tejakumari's parents had filed a complaint with the Subrahmanya police station, couple went there and presented before the police before leaving back to Kasargod.
