Mangalore, Jul 29: "Those who are Muslims for just namesake have been going against "Tauheed", the very essence of Islam. Once Muslim say that there is only one God and no other god is to be worshipped, they should also mean it. But if they go against 'Tauheed', they will be sinning against Allah," said Hafiz Arshad, a noted salafi scholar from Shiroor.
He was speaking during the seminar on "Jihad" organized at Town Hall here on Friday July 28. "Al-Islah" book too was released on the same occasion.
M A Akbar, director of Nitch of Truth organization of Kerala spoke on 'Jihad.' He presented his views on 'Jihad' while the gathered their doubts by asking questions. Adil Latif, a noted scholar from Yedavanna in Kerala coordinated the programme.
Munawwar Ali, Munir Sahab Udupi, U M Abbas, Noor Ahmad, Atik Udupi were also present on the occasion.
