BJP stages protest over law and order situation


Ghaziabad, July 2 (IANS): The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Wednesday staged a protest here against the deteriorating law and order situation in the district.

Citing the looting of Rs.18 lakh and the murder of an accountant two days ago, BJP district president Ashok Monga said the morale of criminals was high under Samajwadi Party rule in Uttar Pradesh.

The BJP leaders submitted a memorandum to the district magistrate and demanded a judicial probe into the murder.
