CRPF officer killed in Maoist attack in Bihar


Patna, Jul 4 (IANS): One CRPF officer was killed Friday morning in a Maoist attack in Bihar's Jamui district, a senior official said.

The attack took place near Khaira forest in Jamui when a team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers was patrolling the area. 

A CRPF assistant commandant was killed, said the official.

Gunfight is still going on.
