Kolkata, Jul 30: Jagmohan Dalmiya on Sunday night retained the seat of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president, defeating his arch opponent police commissioner Prasun Mukherjee by five votes.
While 61 votes were polled in favour of Dalmiya, Mukherjee got 56 votes. Elections were held on the basis of 117 votes as ABP Sports Club had not come.
It has also been learnt that two joint secretaries from Dalmiya's panel have won the elections.
