Dubai: Karaval Milan to Hold Musical Show on Home Territory

Dubai, Jul 31: Karaval Milan Dubai, which is a regional association of 18 parishes from Kallianpur-Kundapur varado, has planned to host a musical extravaganza, this time in their native place Brahamavar, for a good cause.

On the first day of the year 2007, the event will be held at Makkala Mantapa, SMS Brahmavar with a grand Wilfy Nite with Wilfy Rebimbus and his entire troupe performing. Part of the proceeds of the show will be donated to Christa Jyothi, Children's Home, Kolalagiri.

Karaval Milan had organized its annual event last year in Dubai by successfully hosting classical dances by Sandesha and Konkani musical programme. The association is actively involved in charity causes back home.

Charles Mascarenhas,  president of the association since its inception for the six consecutive years, breaking the announcement to daijiworld, said that Karaval Milan has always staged novelty and innovation each year.

"This time we thought of holding a programe in our home town since many of our members will be on Christmas holidays and also it will be an opportunity for the people back home to join the entertainment event," he added.

He has requested every parishioner belonging to Karaval Milan group who are residing outside their home territory to attend the programme. That is the very purpose of announcing the programme so well in advance, he pointed out.
