New Delhi, July 4 (IANS): The national capital experienced a sunny Friday with the maximum temperature recorded at 36.8 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season. The Met department has forecast a partly cloudy Saturday.
"Saturday will be partly cloudy. Light rain may occur in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 38 degrees and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The minimum temperature recorded Friday was 26 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded at 32.7 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 26.1 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
