Hyderabad, July 7 (IANS): Anil Dhirubhai Ambani, chairman, Reliance Group, Monday called on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao here and evinced interest in investing in the newly-created state, said officials.

The top industrialist assured the chief minister that he will contribute in the state government's mission to rebuild Telangana.

Ambani expressed his willingness to invest in electricity generation, infrastructure, industrialisation and media sectors, said a statement from the chief minister's office.

KCR, as the chief minister is popularly known, thanked Ambani and told him that his government is in the process of working out a comprehensive plan for the all-round development of Telangana.

Rao said an industrial policy was being evolved and he would be looking forward for another meeting with him to chalk out an action plan for mutual cooperation.
