Mangalore, Jul 5: Savouring the richest music live in an ambience, which has a perfect blend of placidity and style, is a delight. "Vincent Nite" presented by May-Fred Cascia held Cascia Church Hall on Saturday Aug 5 brought this opportunity to Mangaloreans.

 

In his own parish, well-known composer and singer Vincent Fernandes Cascia, who has carved a niche for himself in Konkani music, presented his musical nite.

After his successful 3 Konkani music albums, the fourth ‘Mogachi Lharan’ saw the light of the day on the occasion at the hands of Konkan Kogul Wilfy Rebimbus. A musical treat to cherish the newest songs of Vincent was his nite.



The star attraction was budding artiste including Sherin Walder and Tania Vas. 



Popular singers including Claud D'Souza, Lancy Carlo, Anita Samson and Rony Crasta joined their voices for the nite making it a memorable one. Taking the musical evening to another level is the fact that entire event was organised in aid of the education fund of St Vincent D Paul Society, Cascia.



Mary Fernandes, mother of Vincent, Raymond Goveas, president St Vincent De Paul Society, Cascia and Meena Rebimbus were present on the dais.  Fr Cyril D'Souza, parish priest, Cascia Church presided over the function.




No Konkani musical nite is complete without Dolla’s jokes. Creating bursts of laughter to his hilarious acts was Konkani comedian and playwriter Dolla and Kulla along with MeMoRi.




Vincent Mendonca Cascia was compere for the event. The stage was decorated by Well Done Decorators, Cascia.
