PM condoles journalist Jehangir Pocha's death


New Delhi, Jul 12 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Saturday condoled the death of senior journalist Jehangir Pocha.

"My condolences to his family in this hour of grief. May his soul rest in peace. Jehangir Pocha will be remembered as a leading voice on television, print and social media. His frank and insightful views on issues will be missed," Modi said.

Pocha was the editor-in-chief of NewsX news channel. He died Saturday morning due to cardiac arrest.

The prime minister said he was shocked and saddened to hear about Pocha's death.
