SC acquits Surat bomb blast accused


New Delhi, July 18 (IANS): The Supreme Court Friday acquitted all the 11 accused convicted for January-February 1993 Surat bomb blast in Gujarat, in which a woman was killed and several people were injured.

An apex court bench of Justice T.S. Thakur and Justice C. Nagappam while acquitting the 11 accused reversed the TADA court verdict that gave them imprisonment varying from 10 to 20 years.
