Ten killed in truck-bus collision in Pakistan


Islamabad, July 18 (IANS): At least 10 people were killed and dozens injured in a truck-bus collision in Pakistan's Balochistan province Friday, police said.

Police said the driver of the speeding passenger bus lost control and collided with a Mazda truck that was coming from the opposite side in Sibi district, Dawn online reported.

The injured were rushed to Sibi civil hospital for medical treatment.

Both vehicles were severely damaged during the accident.

Nashad Baloch, a local journalist told the newspaper that four of the injured succumbed to their wounds on the way to the hospital.
