Mumbai, Aug 4: Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Race 2' will not be screened on Doordarshan channel. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has decided not to telecast the film in DD1 as the film is not appropriate for screening. The movie was edited with many cuts, but CBFC did not give 'U' certificate.
"For Doordarshan we need a U certificate, but they did not give us that. I did suffer a minor loss in satellite right revenue but there is nothing I can do," said Ramesh Taurani.
'Race 2' was produced by Ramesh Taurani. It had Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernanadez and Amisha Patel in lead roles.
