Veerappa Moliy Accorded Warm Welcome in Kuwait

Kuwait, Aug 23: Veerapa Moily, Chairman – Administrative Reforms Commission, Govt. of India and former Chief Minister of Karnataka, arrived in Kuwait today at 7:30 am along with his wife Malathi Moily as Chief Guests for KCWA celebration of “Korodacho Kurov” on 25th August ’06.
He was received at the airport by Indian Embassy officials and PRO Pascal Pinto. KCWA delegation led by President Steven Machado welcomed him at Hotel Continental and offered a flower bouquet. Moily looked relaxed even after a long journey and was very excited to be in Kuwait and to meet fellow Mangaloreans.
As announced earlier KCWA is celebrating a achievement day called “Korodacho Kurov” on 25th August to mark the occasion of donating over a Crore of rupees in generous charity towards education of poor children and other humanitarian causes. Popular singer Mike Simon has already arrived from Mangalore to entertain the crowd along with popular and talented local artistes. A souvenir also will be released to mark the occasion.
