Former AAP member Shazia Ilmi to join Congress Party: Reports

New Delhi, Aug 7 (Bhaskar News) :  Former Aam Aadmi Party member Shazia Ilmi may well be on her way to join the Congress Party.

Ilmi had quit AAP accusing it of sidelining her and alleged marginalisation despite sacrificing so much for the party.

According to news reports published in The Asian Age, Ilmi is in talks with top leadership of Congress and may offer her support to the party before Delhi assembly polls.

Ilmis share a strong relationship with the Congress Party. Her brother-in-law and BSP member Arif Mohammad Khan was once a member of Congress Party.

Earlier, there had been specualtions that Shazia Ilmi may back track from her decision to leave AAP and re-join the party. Even party head, Arvind Kejriwal had once vocally declared that
he would bring Ilmi back into the party.

However, the final nail in the coffin was driven when AAP sidelined her once again and favoured MLA Bandana Kumari as the leader of party's women wing.

Annoyed, Ilmi approached the Congress Party.

chalo, khud apne ghar hi gayi! ..subha ka bhoola shaam ko wapas laut aaye toh, use bhoola nahi kehte! AAPi kehte hain!!

anyways, ultimately, every AAP member will finally join Congress ... like every river joins ocean... Congress is ocean of corruption.. -)

just that who gets to keep the funds in AAP, once it is dissolved! will be interesting to watch.. Kejri has given farmaan to hindus to not waste money over "raksha bandhan" and donate to AAP instead..!! (he didnt ask for EIDi though.. he is secular u know)
