Mangalore, Aug 27: As already reported in these columns, the department of Commerce of St Agnes College will be organizing a national-level intercollegiate fest - ComQuest '06 - a Search for Excellence with a theme 'Navras' (nine emotions of human life) on August 28 and 29.

The fest consists of corporate skill-based intellectual competitions on Tourism Management, Marketing Management, Stocks and Shares, Human Resources Management, Biz Quiz, Crisis Management, Venture Capital, Ice-breaker and Best CEO.

ComQuest '06 is an effort to sculpt the calibre of the students and to help them meet head-on with the demands of the modern business world.

The organizers have received an overwhelming response from 20 various reputable colleges of Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka.

Bharat Beedi Works' executive director Anant G Pai will be the chief guest at the inaugural to be held at 9-00 am on Monday, August 28.

Magnum Intergrafiks chairman Sudhir P Ghate will be chief guest at the valedictory at 4-30 pm on Tuesday, August 29.

Principal Sr M Carmel Rita AC, local manager Sr Shalini AC, staff coordinator Deviprabha, Commerce secretary Sweeny Lewis and student coordinator T Shraddha Rao are among the organizing committee.
