'Entertainment' collects Rs 36.69 crores in it's first weekend

Mumbai, Aug 11: Akshay Kumar starrer 'Entertainment' has collected a decent RS 36.69 crores net in it's first weekend in India. The film was released in around 2800 screens on August 8.

The movie managed a decent occupancy on it's first day and collected Rs 11.16 crores. On the second day the film showed a small growth and collected Rs 11.53 crores. The film collected Rs 14 crores on Sunday thus collecting Rs 36.69 crores on it's first weekend.

'Entertainment' received mixed reviews from critics. The film was liked by the audience and managed to collect well. The movie is expected to collect well in it's weekdays before 'Singham Returns' snatches all it's screens next week.

The film also had Tamannah Bhatia, Sonu Sood, Prakash Rai, Mithun Chakraborthy, Krushna Abhishek and Johny Lever in lead roles. The film is directed by Sajid-Farhad and produced by Ramesh Taurani.
