Bangalore, Aug 30: Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar will undergo special training during the eight-day 'Rolling Camp' to be held for the Team India players in batches at the National Cricket Academy here from today in preparation for the coming tri-series in Kuala Lumpur.
Informing this to newspersons, Coach Greg Chappell said the training for Tendulkar would be completely different and specific plans had been drawn for him.
"We have not spoken to him (Sachin). But we will have a different plan... something specific for him.''
Asked about Tendulkar's fitness, Chappell said ''he is fit to play and that is important.''
The tri-series would be held in Kuala Lumpur from September 12 to 24, with Australia and West Indies being the other two teams.
Though Tendulkar had staged a comeback into the team recently for the Sri Lankan tour after staying out of the field for over six months due to shoulder injury, his match fitness could not be tested due to the washout of the tri-series in the Island nation, marred by a bomb blast near the hotel in which the players had been staying in Colombo and inclement weather.
