Bangalore, Aug 15: Puneeth Rajkumar recorded his voice as a narrator for the film 'Bahaddur' on Tuesday August 12. Though Puneeth has sung songs for other actors including Shivanna and Yogi, this is the first time he is giving narration for the film. Dhruva Sarja is playing the lead role in the film directed by Chetan Kumar.

Chetan says he wanted an youth icon to do the narration and could not look beyond Puneeth as he is the biggest youth icon in the state. He said that the narration contains important message and it had to come from a popular and a person whose words carry weight. Puneeth's narration will be in the film during the beginning, interval and climax.

The film stars Dhruva Sarja and Radhika Pandit. This is their second film together after 'Addhuri', which was a blockbuster. The movie was launched almost two years ago but had to be stalled in the middle due to financial problems. The film is expected to release in the month of September.
