Udupi, Sep 2: Taluk panchayat member and well-known social activist Veronica Cornelio has been appointed president of women's wing of district Congress.
Veronica, a parishioner of 'The Little Flower' Church, Kemman near here has been a active Congress party member for some years now. She is a member of Catholic Sabha and is also rendering services in various parish, deanery and diocese-level organizations and associations.
She is also the executive committee member of Fudar Pratishthan.
