Bantwal, Aug 22: A youth missing from Ajjibettu near B C Road from the last few days is said to have committed suicide in Mumbai on Wednesday August 20.
The deceased identified as Pradeep (19), is the son a Virupaksha resident. He used to sell helmets and cooling glasses near the main
circle on B C Road along with his mother Kariamma.
He used to stay in a rented house at Ajjibettu with his mother for the last few years. He had gone missing from August 11 saying that his mother did not buy a bike for him.
A complaint was lodged in the local police station on Tuesday August 19. As the news of the suicide was received, his parents went to Mumbai to bring his body, said the police.
