Mangalore: Two youths fight for trivial issue

Mangalore, Aug 22: Two youths in Halekote under Ullal police station limits have fought for trivial issue on Thursday, August 21. Both of them were admitted to private hospitals in Thokottu.

The injured in the fight are identified as Halekote residents Iqbal and Sharif. Sharif is employed in fish transport vehicle.

While Sharif was coming to Calicut after transporting fish from Kerala, Iqbal has reportedly assaulted him.

Sharif, in his police complaint has said that when he was returning home after work, Iqbal was holding beer bottles in his hands and demanded money from him. When he said that he had no money, Iqbal had
assaulted him with beer bottles and knife and when he fell unconscious, he kicked him on the waist.

Sharif has stab injuries on his shoulder, leg and waist.

Iqbal in his complaint said that Sharif questioned his dressing style and assaulted him.

A case was registered in Ullal police station.
