'Power ***' releases in record 275 theatres

Bangalore,Aug 28: The first show of Puneeth Rajkumar's new film 'Power***' premiered at 2.30 am in Ganga theatre (Nataraja Compound) in Bellary. The craze for the film was so much that such an early show was forced to be arranged. In Davangere theaters Pushpanjali and Ashoka the first show started at 5 am.

The film is being released in a record 275 theatres across Karnataka and will have 1,090 shows on the first day. Samarth Prasad, who is distributing the film has created a new record in the Kannada film industry.

This is not the first time Puneeth's films are having early shows.Puneeth's 2012 film 'Anna Bond' had 6am show in Bangalore's Rockline Multiplex apart from single screens.
