US jeweller sues Sean Kingston


New York, Aug 29 (IANS): A jeweller has filed a law suit against singer Sean Kingston for non-payment for jewelleries and other items.

Avi Da calims that he sold the R&B star watches, chains, bracelets and necklaces between 2008 and 2013 - and he's still waiting to be paid. He also claimed that the cheques the singer issued at seven different times over the years, they all bounced, reports tmz.com.

According the the lawsuit, filed here, he claims Kingston owes him more than $200,000 (British pounds 118,000), and still hasn't returned a $12,000 ring he loaned the star for a TV appearance.

In all, Avi claims he's owed $226,200 and he wants an additional million bucks in punitive damages.

The website tried to reach out to Kingston, but so far no word back.
