Brahmavar, Sep 22: In the South Zone Handball Tournament held recently in Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai, the Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar from here won the runners-up place.
This achievement qualifies them to play nationals at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, scheduled to be held in comin November.
In their pursuit to this slot, they beat Loucha School, Tamil Nadu, Bhavan's School, Chennai and Ichampuram School, Andhra Pradesh.
The Little Rock team consisted of Rohit (captain) and Avinash of Class XII, Jeevan, Rakshit, Shayan and Nagesh of Class X, Shrajan, Shaikh Ubedulla, Chiraj Hegde and Anukarsh Reddy of Class IX.
