Dubai: Talent Hunt Show by Karnataka Sangha - Pictures

Dubai, Sep 24: Karnataka Sangha, Dubai successfully hosted "TALENTS HUNT PROGRAM" on 21st September at Sunflower Restaurant, Al Rais Centre, Dubai.  This was a successful experiment by the Sangha to introduce Talents hidden in the Kannadigas hailing from the Karnataka State instead of the usual Talents competition.  A lot of talent was exposed in the 5 categories, i.e., Singing, Dance, Instrumental music, Poem writing & reciting & a story on a Post card.  Around 60 participants took part in this amazing program. 

Program was started at 715PM with a welcome note by the General Secretary, John Monteiro. 
Entertainment Secretary, Mrs. Ranjani Suresh briefed the participants as well as the audience about the rules and regulations of the program. 
 
President C.R. Shetty, presided over the program and gave a brief about the Sangha's forthcoming events such as the Rajyotsava Day on 3rd November, Throwball and Volleyball matches during Oct/Nov, Sports Day in Jan/Feb 2007 with the support of all the associations of Dubai, Blood donation and Free Medical check up, Cricket, etc.,

Vinay Kumar Sorake, ex MP and a prominent Congress leader from Udupi was the Chief Guest along with his wife Mrs. Dhaksha Sorake.  Sorake praised the efforts of Karnataka Sangha, Dubai and he wished that this Sangha become the most popular Karnataka Sangha in the World. 



Also present were the ever supporting Zafarulla Khan, Dr. B.K. Yusuf, Patron of the Sangha.




Show was compered by Ranjani Suresh supported by Nalini Somayaji.
 
John Monteiro said the Vote of thanks and concluded the program.
