Mangalore / London, Sep 28: From November 2006, Indian Ocean Cruises will operate cruises to places like Mangalore, the Malabar coast and the Lakshdweep Islands, fairly lesser known to international tourists.
Based in Goa, Indian Ocean Cruises is run by Foresight Shipping who have over twenty years experience and expertise in commercial shipping and international first class restaurant operations in China and India.
MV Ocean Odyssey
The cruise liner, MV Ocean Odyssey, will call at the Mangalore port every fortnight from November 2006 and the passengers will have a chance to take a city tour, including a visit to Shri Mangaladevi Temple, which has lent its name to 'Mangalore'.
It will be a matter of interest to our readers that one of the directors of the parent company, Foresight Limited of London, Flavian D'Souza, is from Mangalore.
