Mangalore, Sep 29: Samajwadi Party members staged protest against the state and union governments and blocked road at Jyothi Circle here.
The SP members complained that while the union government has failed in good governance, the state government is full of corruption and corrupt ministers. "The state government is trying to divert the attention of the public and to achieve this end, they are holding assembly session in Belgaum," said state secretary H Raju.
Former MLA Rukmayya Poojary, district secretary S P Chengappa, president M Mohan, minority wing president Moyiddin, Mohini Karkera of women's wing were also present on the occasion.
