Mangalore, Sep 29: The state-level intercollegiate management fest 'Horizon-06' hosted by the business management department of St Agnes College ended on Friday evening.

Various categories of competitions like Brain twister, Prodigy, Green Issues, Gimmick, Stress interview etc. got participants from colleges from the city and around, Kodagu, Bangalore and other places of the state to put their skills to test.

The valedictory function was presided over by Dr Aroor Prasad Rao, chairman of Shanker Vittal Motor Company, who, with a fund of experience of having studied abroad and then managing a business conglomerate, shared his experiences of management and commended the college for encouraging the students to excel by conducting fests of this kind.

Principal Sr Carmel Rita, vice principal Dr Sr Prem, staff coordinator Catherine, student coordinators Arlene Texeira and Joanne and others were present on the occasion.

Results:

Overall trophy: KLE Society College, Belgaum

Runners up: Garden City, Bangalore

Green Issues: I KLES, II St Aloysius College, Mangalore

Brain-twisters: I St Aloysius College Mangalore, II Garden City College, Bangalore

The Prodigy, best CEO: KLES College, Belgaum

Gimmick: KLES Belgaum, II SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore
