Mangalore, Sep 26: A person has been arrested for allegedly committing sodomy. The victim is said to be a 17-year-old mentally challenged person.
Arun (29) is the accused person.
Arun, a resident of Bajjodi is a centring work supervisor. He is married with two children. The victim is a neighbour to Arun. On Wednesday morning the alleged act took place with the boy.
The boy confided about the incident with his mother. The police have arrested the accused on the charges of unnatural sex after receiving complaint from the victim’s mother.
Mangalore rural police have registered the case and the accused has been sent to judicial custody.
