Mangalore: Cash robbed from electrical shop in broad daylight

Mangalore, Sep 28: An incident of two thieves robbing money in a broad day light from an electrical shop was reported from Kuttar on Saturday September 27 in the Ullal police station.

Two robbers, falsely claiming themselves as customers arrived at a shop in the morning hours asking one of the staff, Mamatha for tubelights. On request of the customers, while she climbed upstairs to get the ordered materials, the thieves allegedly robbed Rs 8,000 from the shop's cash box.

It is said that the robbers took away the bag of the staff, which contained a mobile phone and a house key. Ullal police arrived at the spot and registered a case; Further investigations are underway.
