Mangalore: MACO holds 38th annual general body meet

Mangalore, Sep 28: Mangalore Autorikshaw and Car Owners (MACO) society Ltd held their annual general body meet for the year 2013-14 at St Aloysius College, Deva Mahime Gelge hall.

Ivan D'Souza, MLC and president of the society presented the annual report and annual financial accounts.

The society has earned a net profit of Rs 17.11 lacs and has declared a dividend of 12% to its shareholders. The association has been classified under 'A' category for audit.

The association decided to have its own building during the next financial year and to increase the branches throughout Dakshina Kannada district for the convenience of its members. It was also decided to arrange toilets and water for the members.

Directors M Chandrashekar, Rajesh, Francis Ignatius Correa, Pravin Chandra Alva, Michael Patrick Lobo, Gangadhar Sapalya, Dr Ivan Pinto,
Babitha D'Souza, Juliet Pereira, Chidananda, Damodar, Mohammed Hanif and secretary Dinesh K were present. Association vice president Cyril D'Souza proposed the vote of thanks.
