Mangalore: Rashid Malbari in Nepal, say sources; BJP leader in hit list?

Shreyas H S
Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore

Mangalore, Oct 14: Amid speculations doing the rounds that Rashid Malbari was nabbed and shot by the Bangalore crime branch soon after he jumped bail, sources from the intelligence bureau (IB) told Daijiworld he has flown out of the country and is probably hiding in Nepal.

Rashid Malbari, a notorious criminal and a close accomplice of underworld dons Chhota Shakeel and Dawood Ibrahim, was granted conditional bail by a Bangalore court on July 21. However, he had skipped the bail and evaded police despite the state police mounting surveillance on his movements.

He was slapped with charges of murder and illegal possession of fire arms under the Arms Act in a crime that took place at KG Halli, Bangalore. He was granted bail by the JMFC court, Mangalore, and then sent to Central Jail, Bangalore.

Malbari who got married after he was given a brief relief, is suspected to have moved to Nepal, sources said. Meanwhile, it is leanrt that a threat of a possible attack looms over a BJP leader in the district. The sources speaking to Daijiworld said that Malbari was 'conspiring' to target those in his hit list and a BJP leader in the coastal district was one among them.

Regarding speculations about Malbari being shot at and nabbed, the Bangalore crime branch released the matter due to pressure, the IB confirmed, adding that officials in the bureau have gathered information that he has fled the country.

City commissioner of Mangalore R Hitendra told the press in Mangalore a few days back that a letter had been dispatched to the CBI seeking help from the Interpol to nab Malbari. Nevertheless, his reported escape has raised serious questions about the level of security provided by the police department, which seems to have failed in keeping vigil on the notorious criminal.

Is Rashid God to give him bail, who thought about this bail business for a notorious criminal, next time you get him just shoot him, so no more bail busniess and no one's life is in danger. Get hold of all the people who applied for bail, give them good beating next time no one will come forward to give bail of anyone. Get hold of the lawyer also, so no lawyer will do this type of business of bail. Looks like bail is on sale.

First of all why he was given bail...was it sickularism then...moving out of state may be states problem...but moving out of country...central govt need to answer...how can soneone move out...Better solution is seal the porous Indo- nepal border like bangladesh...One it will prevent smuggling ,second much of terrorism happens through this route..third prevent illegal nepali migration into India....

Why you are blaming Police force only....When they catch some criminals or corrupt, there are supporters of these corrupt and criminal. i.e. Now Jayalalitha is in Jail, but you see some lawyers are trying for her bail, Some of her supporters making pooja, agitation, fasting etc. Before punishing the criminal by our police our cheater lawyer will be present in Police station with Bail. Don't blame police department but blame our legal system.

Our legal system is the main culprit for making way for these criminals to escape and continue their criminal activities! Now search for him for years, bring him back and then bail him out and make him escape again!

Between, 2002 and 2006, there were 22 encounter deaths in Gujarat. According to the NHRC figures, during 2002-2007, there were 4 alleged fake encounters in Gujarat. For these fake encounter even proved in court the police officer got promotion because of ruling party in Gujarat which is bad.

    Stan,
From 2009 to 2013, NHRC recorded around 600 cases of alleged fake encounters in India, with UP topping the list with around 150 cases and followed by Manipur, Assam, WB. Tell me how many police officials get punished for these encounters.
And here we are talking not about fake encounter, but about encountering of culprits like Rashid Malabari,

I am not against encountering the criminals but give one reply....Saffron terror are acts of violence that have been described as being motivated by Hindu Nationalism.(Sadhvi p case) However, in some cases the motivation for the acts has not been clearly determined, If police encounter these terrorist . will you people give l same statement? I feel shame that the persons changing their statement according to their relationship with the criminals. Same people will say if above people are encountered they will say it is wrong. Even some of our lawyers, political leaders are trying to prove above people innocent and want these people out from jail.

Did I mention saffron, green, white terror in my comments? When I mentioned culprits like Rashid Malbari it covers all criminals irrespective of religion.

This is the main problem of pseudo seculars like you, brings religion in between when there is nothing to defend and pose themselves as messiahs of faith and belief.
