New Delhi, Oct 16 (IANS): Veteran actress-politician Hema Malini turned 66 Thursday and legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar has only good wishes for the "Dream Girl".

Hema had recently shared that she wished Lata Mangeshkar had sung for her in 1979 film “Meera" and that will remain the one regret of her career. The actress said that she had even requested the singer personally, but she had her own reasons for not singing in the film..

Well, all that is past now and today the two are mutual fans and that’s evident from the exchange of tweets between the stars.

Hema has chosen to spend a "quiet" birthday with her elder daughter Esha and son-in-law Bharat Takhtani.
