Gurmeet puts on dancing shoes for 'Jamai Raja'


Mumbai, Oct 20 (IANS): Actor Gurmeet Choudhary is back on television, but for a dance performance on show "Jamai Raja". He says the small screen stint made him "nostalgic".

The actor will be seen wooing his fans on the small screen with a dance performance, along with actresses Smita Bansal and Vibha Anand, for the Navratri celebration sequence in the Zee TV show.

"I love the show and Ravi (Ravi Dubey, who plays the male lead in the show) is my very good friend. I am very excited to perform on his show. Also, it's a nostalgic feeling to comeback on the small screen after so many days," Gurmeet said in a statement.

His dancing skills were polished on reality show "Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 5", which he had won.

Digangana's fan gifts her gold ring

Actress Digangana Suryavanshi, who is seen in the title role in TV show "Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera", was in for a pleasant surprise when she received a gold ring from her fan as a birthday gift.

"I was taken aback when my biggest fan presented me with a gold ring. It was an extremely kind gesture and I am truly humbled by the love and affection. I am feeling very proud for having touched so many hearts," said Digangana in a statement.

The actress, who turned 17 recently, received gifts like cards, soft toys, chocolates, flowers and photo-frames from her fans across India. But the ring caught her attention.

However, it is not known whether the ring was a token of appreciation for her role in the Star Plus show or was just a smart way to propose to the actress!
