Pratyusha happy be a Bengali bride on TV


Mumbai, Oct 22 (IANS): Pratyusha Banerjee will now be seen as a typcial Bengali bride in "Hum Hai Na". She says her parents would be happy to see her in the avatar.

The current track of the Sony show centers around Bunty, who has convinces his Amma (mother) and entire family for his marriage with Saagarika, played by Pratyusha.

"I am loving shooting for the wedding sequence as for the first time I am dressing up as a Bengali bride. I am excited to wear the 'alta' and the 'mukut'. I am sure my parents will be extremely happy seeing me in this avatar," actress said in a statement.

Pratyusha forayed into television with "Balika Vadhu" and played the protagonist Anandi. Later she quit the show and was seen in the reality show - "Bigg Boss".

It's Gutthi, Palak time in 'Bigg Boss 8' house

The popular pair of Gutthi and Palak, played by Sunil Grover and Kiku Sharda respectively, from "Comedy Nights With Kapil" will enter the Bigg Boss house. They are all set to ligthen up the atmosphere in the house.

Hold your thoughts, they are not going in as contestants, but to celebrate Diwali with the contestants, said a source.

As the eighth season of the reality show gets nastier with more arguments and showdowns between housemates, the duo's entry is expected to lighten up the mood inside the house on the festival of lights.

Actress Mouni Roy will also be seen grooving with her dance partner Punit Pathak from "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7" for the contestants.
