VADODARA, Oct 26: A Delhi-bound Indian flight with 90 passengers, including seven crew members of the brand new the A-319 aircraft, on board made an emergency landing at the airport here after being hit by a bird this morning, an airport official said.
All the 83 passengers and seven crew on board of flight number 817, were safe, the sources said.
However, all the passengers are safe, he said. The bird hit occurred soon after the flight took off and the plane has been grounded and routine inspection was carried out, the official said.
Later, another Mumbai-Delhi flight was diverted to Vadodara to pick up the stranded passengers.
