Mumbai, Nov 10: The Mangalorean Welfare Association ® Vidyavihar, Mumbai  celebrated its 34th Anniversary on 5th  Nov 2006. As a part of celebrations A Konakni Drama “Siluchem Filu” was staged at Zaveriben Popatlal Sabagriha,  Ghatkopar, Mumbai to a packed audience. Many had go back disappointed without getting tickets. 


The Drama “Siluchem Filu” has been written by Noted Konkani  Singer,  Dramatist and writer  Shri Claud D’Souza of Bendur and was directed beautifully by Noted Konkani actor  Shri Joy Paldaka.  During the occasion students who have passed  their respective exams with bright colours were honoured.


Famous Konkani Compere and  industrialist Clement Lobo was the Chief Guest. Alfred D’Souza , an active member of SVP was the Guest of Honour. Rudolf Rebello President of The Mangalorean Welfare Association welcomed the guests and Shri Vincent  Castelino Secretary, gave the Vote of thanks. The stage program was compered by Evarist Fernandis.
