Muscat, Nov 14: The Karnataka Wing of Indian Social Club (ISC – Muscat) will present 'Raga Ragini' fusion musical programme  on Thursday, November 23, 2006, in Le Grand Hall  in Al Falaj Hotel at Bait Al Falaj here.

The evening will bring extraordinary delight to the music-lovers of Kannada Origin with an extravaganza of fusion music, combing Classical, Folk, Light Music and Film songs by renowned musicians from Karnataka. 

The highlights of the programme will be:
 
A fusion concert with seven renowned musicians from Karnataka

  • Pravin D Rao: Popular music director, keyboard
  • Chandu: Popular music director, violin
  • M D Pallavi: Playback singer
  • Arun Sukumar: percussionist
  • N S Prasad: Mandolin
  • Srinivas Achar: Guitar
  • Madhusudan: Tabla

Renowned the musicians from Karnataka jamming on stage in different styles of music, jugalbandi in Hindustani and Carnatic genres, renowned collection of Bhava Geete (light music) of the land of Karnataka, rhythm conversations, Jazz and Latin music, Jazz style blended into Indian music and tribal and folk styles mixed into groovy rhythmic patterns, popular melodies of Kannada, a special Arabic number fused with Indian music,  popular Hindi film melodies in a foot -apping medley and many others will be the other features.
