Los Angeles, Nov 29 (IANS): Actress Drew Barrymore was given a ticket for jaywalking as she left a yoga class in Beverly Hills.

The 39-year-old star was seen being stopped by a policeman after she recklessly crossed the street following her departure from a yoga class.

The actress, who has two daughters, Olive, two, and seven-month-old Frankie with husband Will Kopelman, looked nervous as she played with her hair whilst being addressed by the police officer on the pavement, reports contactmusic.com.

Despite the incident, Barrymore refused to let it dampen her Thanksgiving holiday spirit and later, she took to social networking site Facebook to thank her family and friends.

"I'm thankful for my girlfriends. Who were my first family. And now I am lucky enough to have another! And my girlfriends are there for my daughters. And it makes me overwhelmed with joy. Happy Thanksgiving to all the friends and families out there. Drew," she posted.

She also shared a photograph of her youngest child with her hair spiked up.

Captioning the photo on photo-sharing site Instagram, she wrote: "Happy Thanksgiving. #mylittleturkey."
