Beijing, Nov 30 (IANS): US model Shelynne Hoyt was crowned at the 26th Miss Model of the World International Grand Final Contest in Chinese city of Shenzhen Saturday.
Ukrainian model Anastasiya Sukh was the runner-up while Russian model Natalia Tcytko finished third.
The final results came after a round of show-up in ethnic clothing, swimsuits and evening dress.
A total of 61 models from as many countries and regions participated in the final contest.
The beauty pageant, original started in Turkey in 1988, has attracted the participation of over 10,000 models around the world over the past 26 years.
