Daijiworld News Network – Udupi (VM)

Udupi, Nov 24: Volakadu Government High School, Udupi, bagged the first prize in the Science quest ‘Brain Quest,’ the two-day Science fair held here recently.

V K R Acharya Kannada Medium High School, Kunjal stood second in the event. The winning team exhibited a model of wireless communication and rocket that went 10 meters high.

In the IQ test, St Mary’s High School team won the contest while St Lawrence P U College, Moodubelle stood second.

US-based scientist Poornima Kamath, chief organizer of Brain Quest, Kishore Papineni, principal research scientist, Yahoo, New York.English and Kannada medium schools participated in the event where remote controlled helicopters, digital dance competitions, robodog etc were on display.
