Russell Brand risks Twitter ban

Los Angeles, Dec 9 (IANS): Comedian Russell Brand may face a Twitter suspension after publishing phone number of a journalist to his 8.7 million followers on the micro-blogging site.

Breaching Twitter's rules, the 39-year-old posted a photograph of a Daily Mail journalist's business card on his Twitter page, reports telegraph.co.uk.

In doing so, he risked breaching Twitter's guidelines, which state members cannot post personal information about others without permission.

However, it is not yet clear whether Brand's post will be considered such a breach, with the post being removed after he developed cold feet.
